The Daily Weekday Schedule

How much more proof do I need that she's a total Goose? For your consideration, observe:

Notice there's no mention of "make bed" on this list. But she intends to brush her teeth THREE times a day. Uh-huh.

The "tip: Fridays CK" refers to our Friday morning Mommy-and-Me preschool co-op.

At the bottom, it says "Read H.B." H.B. is short for Hardy Boys.

I love that she put "brush hair" before "eat breakfast." Brushing her hair is her least favorite activity; she avoids it like the plague. Now I have a document that SHE created that I can use to point to her need to brush her hair daily. It's hairbrushing apologetics.

I could just eat her up, she's so adorable.

That is great! And I had forgotten all about The Hardy Boys books! My son will love those!

I read your comment on the Bring Them Home post on Spunky's website. I just had to visit your blog. What a thoughtful answer you gave to that lady! I am praying it will help her in this struggle.

I appreciated all the Scriptural references too. No matter how many times we read those verses, it's good to be reminded of God's expectations of us.

My pastor's wife said it so clearly to me one time. She said God has designed marriage to be the perfect picture of God to our children. The husband shows one aspect of God; the mother shows another. Both have to work together to show Him completely.

Because of our sinful nature, we buck at that notion when we should bend to it. When we do things God's way, He makes it all right. That takes so much pressure off of us, doesn't it?

Good to meet you!

Tina,

Thanks for stopping by! I do hope that lady considers what God's Word has to say. We live in an age where we easily mistake the world's ideas for God's. One of my goals is to be pointing others to Scripture and showing them that it really is sufficient for guiding us in following Christ.

I hope to see you again around here.

Lord bless!
